About Ellen.

Ellen Mugavin has always been destined for the world of beauty.

Her education started at the prestigious Susan Johnston Finishing School at the age of fourteen, where her interest developed as she was introduced to the beauty industry. Ellen then developed her work experience further after winning a competition with Ford Models (U.S.A) Representatives, allowing her to observe and participate in the fashion and advertising side of the beauty industry from the top.

After this there was no stopping her. Ellen attended the highly acclaimed Swinburne University Entertainment Make up Course then proceeded to the renowned Biba Hair Academy. At the same time as studying at Biba, she was perfecting her make up skills with regular training sessions at MAC Cosmetics. As a result Ellen was employed by MAC, gaining valuable experience in the Chadstone, Chapel Street and Highpoint stores. It was also at thistime that Ellen’s freelancing career started to take off and after a year with MAC cosmetics, she started working solely for herself and has not looked back since!

Some of Ellen’s advertising clients have included Mariana Hardwick, Aviva Insurance, NICA, Vic Roads, Village Road Show, Ristevsky Macheda, Interflora, BagTart, and is a popular choice for the WAG’s at the Brownlow and Best & Fairest awards.

Ellen has also been featured in publications such as Bride to Be, Melbourne Bride, Fashion Journal, Rag Trader, Inpress, The Age, and Herald Sun. Her belief that hair and make up should represent the person wearing it - not the artist who applied it has gained her a steady following of regular clients. Her professional and friendly nature has earned her a reputation as one of Melbourne’s Best.
